Why

Telazul was a studio led by three friends, with the main goal of developing original experimental projects. As a result, we had expanded creative freedom, and the brand needed to convey this sense of informality, free creativity, and fun.

How

We aim to materialize the concept through hands-on practice, truly immersing our symbol of pleasure and Brazilian identity (the cashew) into a pot of ink—our nod to artisanal, artistic processes. Photography emerges as a means to document and bring this physical, fun experience into the digital world. From there, the process continues with the use of traditional photography software and vector editing tools for each project's specific needs.

Manifesto

We believe that without paint-stained clothes, half of the fun is lost. From the inception of our brand, we introduced the concept of Tela: a beautiful and juicy cashew, made in Brazil, completely covered in pink silkscreen ink. Telazul is a Salvador-based design laboratory, conceived as a space for experimentation and the fusion of various artistic practices. In this space, we embrace digital tools and conveniences without losing the gestural and playful qualities of manual work.
